So a blogger you follow is raving about this “Ultimate Bundle” thing. But you’re skeptical (and as you should be! Good for you, using discernment before jumping on bandwagons!) and you searched “ultimate homemaking/ healthy living/ essential oil/ photography/ whatever bundle reviews” or perhaps just “are the ultimate bundles legit” and ended up here.
If so, welcome! – you’ve landed at the right place. Before becoming a blogger myself, I too saw these bundles and wondered what they were all about. I’m here to give you my honest-to-goodness lowdown on these bundles. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
But first, elephant in the room time: Aren’t I trying to *sell* these Ultimate bundles to you like all the other bloggers? How can you believe anything I say?
Full disclaimer: I *am* an affiliate (if you have a blog, you can sign up to be an affiliate too if you want), meaning that I get a percentage of any bundle sales from people that click through any links from my site. I’ve got no shame in this. Many/Most of the links on my blog are affiliate links; that’s kind of norm for blogging these days. It costs you nothing, but companies like when bloggers refer customers their way and so they throw us a few (usually very, very meager) bones for our trouble. If that bothers you – again, it’s never at any cost to you – well, then you never have to click a link from any blog and no bloggers will get any money off you and you can be happy making bloggers sad. Lol. No really, do what you want; I really don’t care. I blog because I enjoy blogging, not because it’s my job to try to convince people to buy things they don’t need.
(Though…if after reading my thorough reviews you DO decide to buy an Ultimate Bundle or anything else I talk about on my blog, and you click through one of my links so that I earn affiliate/referral credit – my family and I do appreciate it. 🙂 )
So to answer the question: I tell the truth about these bundles because I DON’T expect to make any significant money off “selling” them. This allows me the freedom of speaking honestly about them. I’m more interested in doing these reviews to gain blog hits and new followers.
Speaking of – if you’d like to throw me a facebook like, twitter follow, instagram follow or newsletter signup in thanks for writing up all these reviews for you, you’re certainly welcome to! hint, hint 🙂

Ok, let’s get down to the burning questions:
1) Are these Ultimate Bundles a scam?
I can confidently state that NO. They are not a scam. They are exactly what they say there are. You will get all the ebooks, ecourses and bonus just as they say you will, and you will pay the price as listed. So, no, not a scam. However, depending on what you’re looking to get out of a particular bundle, it may or may not be a good deal for you, and may/may not be as awesome as the blogger who’s raving about it implies.
2) How are they able to offer so much for so cheap? I’ve seen 95% – 98% off? How can that possibly be for real?
Here’s how it works: they’re able to offer so many books/courses/bonuses for so cheap because it’s basically one huge collective promotional push that only lasts for a very short time. All the bundle’s contributing authors and companies and bloggers combine forces and mass advertise the current bundle, all at the same time, high-pressure-limited-release style. (if you read a lot of blogs, you’re probably seeing this bundle advertised elsewhere as well.)
They can offer the bundle at such a crazy discount because most of the products offered are digital – this means they can sell them for as cheap as they want (and conversely, claim they are worth as much as they want) and still end up making money off them.
So it’s a win-win for everyone. Providing of course, that you’ll actually use the stuff included in the bundle and aren’t just throwing away money by purchasing it.
3) Are the books/courses/bonuses worth it for me though?
Maybe, maybe not. It depends on what you’re looking for. And this is exactly why I write these huge review posts each time around. I encourage you to look through the current bundle. If there seems to be enough stuff that you’d actually use – then yeah, it’d probably be worth it for you. But if you only really like a couple of the things included in the bundle, then it might be best for you to buy them individually instead of shelling out money for the entire bundle.
As you’ll see in most of my individual bundle reviews (above), I try to include Amazon and other links wherever possible. This way you can both further check out people’s reviews AND purchase them individually if you’d prefer to do that rather than buying the entire bundle.
4) These bundles seem like way more than I could ever read or want to read. Why would I want all of this?
To be honest, if you decide to buy one of the bundles, I doubt you’ll ever look through all of it. For the bundles I’ve purchased in the past, I’ve only ever used maybe 30-40% of the contents. Which is why I strongly encourage you to look at the bundle contents individually and decide for yourself if it’s worth it. If you’ll use it, buy it. If not, don’t.
Collectively, these bundles can be an amazing deal. But if you don’t think you’ll use enough stuff from the bundle, don’t feel pressured to buy it!
For what it’s worth – the thing that usually gets me to cave in and buy the bundles are the BONUSES rather than the books or courses. For me, that’s typically where my best value is. But they might not be for you. Or it might vary from bundle to bundle. Check out my individual bundle reviews (see link list above) to decide for yourself.
5) Are the books/courses in these bundles high-quality and worth it? Or do they feel like cheap and generic material I could probably find for free on Pinterest?
I’ll be honest – these bundles are sometimes a bit of a mixed bag. It’s been my experience that some of the ebooks are kind of skimpy and cheap feeling…whereas others are totally impressive and informative. Which is why I do these Ultimate Bundle review posts – to help you go through and discover which books/courses/bonuses have value, and which books eh, aren’t worth the retail price they claim their book is worth.
6) If I buy it and regret it, can I get a refund?
Yes, you can. They have a 30 day refund policy if you’re dissatisfied for any reason. You do have to email them to request the refund, and I’ve never tried it, but the Ultimate Bundles team is pretty good with customer service, so I fully expect that they honor this.
7) So, Ronni, you said you’ve bought these bundles before, right? Be honest. Have they really been worth it for you?
I like that you’re not afraid to ask honest questions; you’re my kind of reader! While there were originally just one or two bundles offered each year, the Ultimate Bundles collections have really expanded over the years. They originally only offered a Healthy Living and Homemaking Bundle, but now offer bundles on topics such as: Essential Oils, Gut Health, Photography, Clutter and Organization, DIY, Blogging, and more. I’ve ONLY purchased/reviewed bundles I’m personally interested in.
USUALLY, I’m really happy with my purchase and felt like I got a good deal because I’ll use enough of the bundle’s contents to be worth it. Every once in a while though, I haven’t been as big of a fan of a particular bundle. (though I’ve never requested a refund…if that’s saying anything). See all my reviews above for more details on individual bundles. Truthfully, it’s the BONUSES that typically win me over in the end and get me to decide to buy a bundle, ha ha.
Overall though – if you’re considering buying a currently available Ultimate Bundle, check out the contents closely. Don’t only listen to the bloggers raving about the bundle as a whole – or their own book or course that’s included – that they obviously have a vested interest in marketing to you. If there are enough products included that seem valuable to you and you’ll use, then yeah, Go For It! These bundles really are offered for an extremely limited time only. But if you can’t justify the cost for what’s included that you actually need or will use, save your money and wait for the next bundle.
8) Are these really only “limited-time” bundles? What’s up with some of the bundles (like the Conquer Your Clutter, Essential Oils, and Gut Health bundles) still being available to buy even though the “sale” is supposedly over? And what’s the difference between ULTIMATE bundles and SUPER bundles?
“Super” or “Evergreen” Bundles are occasionally offered and and will stay available to purchase for a full year after the original release, but at a higher price. For example, the Herbs & Essential Oils Super Bundle, was originally offered at $29.97 and included 4 bonuses worth ~$100 during its’ six day initial sale period. Afterward, the cost went up to $47 and no longer contained the bonuses.
However, most of the “Ultimate” Bundles will continue to ONLY be offered during a onetime 6-day sale and then occasionally again as a “flash 2-day sale” a few months later (but no promises on that – they decide if/when to offer these and don’t do it for every bundle).
8) Another blogger I follow who’s also promoting this bundle told me I can get EXTRA STUFF if I buy directly from him/her. How does that work? Do YOU (Ronni) have anything extra you can give me too?
Ok…so. Though I realize that this may make you decide to go elsewhere and buy your bundle through another blogger and I might lose money, hey, I’m honest to a fault. And I’m gonna tell you about this anyways.
In recent years, many bloggers who promote the Ultimate Bundles are encouraged to sweeten the pot by offering their readers something extra of theirs (an ebook, a course, a special fb group inclusion, etc) to anyone who clicks through their link to buy a bundle. For already huge bloggers, who have lots of stuff that they sell on their website, this is easy for them to offer. Most likely, they, unlike me, expect to make significant amounts of money from each bundle sale, so they can afford to give their stuff away in hopes of earning even more money.
If you have a blogger that you follow and love and have been wanting to buy something from them but haven’t and the blogger is giving it away for free if you buy an ultimate bundle through them, then go for it. Buy from them. I will not be offended. (Ha, I’m the worst salesperson aren’t I? Telling you to go buy from another affiliate and earn them money instead of me? Hey, like I said, honesty is supremely important to me. While, yes, I’d love your money – I want your trust more.)
Unfortunately, I am not a big blogger. I don’t have any products to sell (other than my Planner For Those Who Do Too Much, and hint – sign up for my planner email list HERE b/c I periodically give out the planner for free). If you’d like to buy the current bundle, and you click through one of my links to buy, I am MOST APPRECIATIVE (really, thank you!) but I sadly do not have anything to offer in return. Other than the in-depth bundle reviews I spend a lot of time putting together for you.
Yeah. You don’t have to buy through one of my links. But you can and I’d like that. But either way is cool. You do you. 🙂
I hope the above individual bundle reviews help you make a decision! Feel free to leave me a comment below if you have any questions about these Ultimate Bundles I’ve not already answered here!
